planned parenthood stand with women

Planned Parenthood Lobby Day, March 2

pp table pink wave 2015Oklahoma lawmakers have passed an unprecedented number of anti-women’s health bills in recent years, including bills that restrict access to safe, legal abortion. It’s more important than ever to speak up!

Join Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma, and fellow pro-family planning activists from across the state as we talk to state legislators about progressive policies that improve the health of Oklahoma’s individuals and families.

Thanks to special funding, this year’s event is FREE for all attendees!

RSVP

Show Up. Meet us for the day (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.) in Oklahoma City, or meet us in Tulsa at 7:30 a.m. and ride the shuttle to and from OKC. Training, breakfast, lunch and a T-shirt will be provided for all participants.

After Lobby Day activities conclude, all are encouraged to stay for Women’s Health Day at the Capitol. The shuttle back to Tulsa will depart at 4:00 p.m., following that event.

Speak Up. Meet with lawmakers to tell them enough is enough! It’s time to focus on policies that expand access for reproductive health care and affordable birth control.

No matter what.
Your voice is more important than ever. As we look ahead to what will surely be a tough year for women’s health, our focus is on making sure everyone has access to the care they need and the ability to make decisions about their own health care. No matter what.

This event is family friendly, with private space available for nursing and storing milk and other supplies. Please register all children individually if they will be eating lunch and/or riding the shuttle.
