The OKC Eastside Forum

The Eastside Forum is scheduled to be held at Prospect Church, Tuesday, January 30, 2018, from 6 pm – 8 pm.

Prospect Church, under the leadership of Rev. Lee E. Cooper Jr., is located at 2801 N. Missouri, in Oklahoma City.

Six candidates vying to be the next governor of the state of Oklahoma has been invited to share their platforms and address issues of your concern at the Gubernatorial Candidates Forum in Oklahoma City January 30, 2018 and in Tulsa, February 6, 2018. Invited candidates include Connie Johnson (D), Drew Edmondson (D), Todd Lamb (R), Mick Cornett (R), Gary Richardson (R) and Chris Powell (L)

Sponsoring organizations include the Oklahoma City and Tulsa NAACP, Concerned Clergy for Spiritual Renewal, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Society, Georgia Brown Democratic Women, the Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce, the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Oklahoma City Urban League, the National Assn. of Black Veterans (NABVETS), National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ), Young Democrats of Oklahoma and SHADES of Oklahoma magazine.
